Eating out with a group sounds simple until you have to organise it: who eats what, where does everyone sit, how long does it take and what does it cost. At Gouds Glas we have a set way of doing this, so that you as the organiser only have to send one email. Here is how a group lunch and a group dinner work with us, for groups of 10 to 200 people.
The group lunch
From 10 people, from 15 euros per person. The lunch comes from our own kitchen and we tailor it to your group and your schedule: a short lunch between two meetings calls for something different from a long lunch after a city walk. Lunch starts from 11:30. On Thursdays in the cheese market season you look out from the terrace over the cheese market.
The group dinner: courses or shared dining
From 10 people, from 30 euros per person. You choose between a set menu of two to six courses or shared dining, where the dishes are placed in the middle of the table and everyone shares. The kitchen is Dutch with Mediterranean influences and works with a Mibrasa charcoal oven; we give a wine suggestion with every dish. Dinner starts from 17:00.
Five places to sit
- The terrace on the Markt, for lunches and drinks in summer.
- The brasserie, lively and in the heart of the restaurant.
- The restaurant, beneath the stained-glass windows and the blossom tree.
- The wine bar, secluded and intimate, also the place for business dinners.
- The mezzanine, overlooking the whole room.
A group of 12 fits just as well as a party of 150. For up to 200 guests you can hire the entire building exclusively.

See the group experiences →Dietary requirements and allergies
Vegetarian is always on the menu. Vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free and allergies should be passed on in advance, and the kitchen will prepare suitable dishes within the same menu. On the menu the allergens are numbered per dish; dishes may contain traces of allergens.
What to pass on in advance
- Date and time, and how much time you have.
- Number of people, with a margin; you pass on the final number shortly beforehand.
- Lunch or dinner, and for dinner: set menu or shared dining.
- Drinks arrangement: per drink, a package or an open bar.
- Dietary requirements and allergies.
- Occasion: a birthday calls for something different from a client dinner.
When to book
December, Saturday evenings and Thursdays in the cheese market season fill up quickly. So book as early as possible via [email protected]. If you are combining the dinner with an activity, read our guide to a company outing in Gouda. For parking with a group there is the parking guide.
