Gouds Glas is officially designated by the City of Gouda as a wedding venue. Our intimate wine bar — set apart from the main restaurant, beneath the stained-glass windows — is the perfect setting to exchange vows with family and friends.
The registrar comes to us. You choose the mood: grand and celebratory, or small and personal. We handle the styling, flowers and music.

For the evening reception, the whole of Gouds Glas is yours exclusively. Beneath the stained-glass windows, right on the Markt — a singular setting for your celebration. We tailor every detail to your wishes.
An open bar, food stations, live carving, a DJ booth at the bar or a string quartet, and a dance floor that runs until after midnight.

Gouds Glas sits at Markt 40, opposite St. John's Church and beside Gouda's town hall. A historic heart full of light — through the stained-glass windows that gave the restaurant its name.
Our rooms are flexible: an intimate dinner for twenty or a full reception for 200 guests. Four zones (terrace, brasserie, dining room, wine bar) plus the mezzanine.
